running tempo 1:00:00 [4] 13.03 km (4:36 / km)
shoes: Asics excite4 2

FINALLY UNDER 6:20 MILE PACE!!!!! Okay so it was only like 2 and a quarter miles and slightly downhill but all our tempos are slightly downhill anyway. I was trying to do a gradual increase so I think I would have been going even faster than my 6:17 average at the end? It definitely felt fast and I was tired, but I felt great and overall super happy with a dope tempo!

Sky Country!! The pack ran with me today, was really nice having people to run with instead of by myself. We made some wrong turns here and there and climbed a killer hill but had a good time.

hiking 1:25:00 [2] 6.0 km (14:10 / km)
shoes: Asics excite4 1

Talapus Lake with Sophia. Chill hike, nice swim, got to see the finished trail I've been working on the last couple weekends.

conditioning (core/pushups) 14:00 [3]

Pyramid core. Kinda impressed I could do all the sets of pushups considering my lack of weight training...

conditioning (knee strengthening) 15:00 [0]

So my left knee has been bothering me for a while; I think it started about two weeks ago but unfortunately I didn't log it earlier because I figured it would go away. I decided to do something about it and am icing and stretching it for the next few days to see what happens.

Clark. I got there late and apparently didn't read on the website that it was actually the Issaquah lot, not Clark, which had been rebuilt across the road, so I went to the new Clark anyways and ran until I found the team. Tempo went well, it was all downhill, but I felt pretty good and enjoyed the pace. I probably could've pushed more tbh but I'm pretty happy with what I did. I averaged a 6:25 mile pace (3:59/k), only for 2.3 miles (3.7k), would like it to be faster/longer for a downhill, but finally a successfulish tempo!

running 1:35:00 [3] 14.8 km (6:25 / km)
shoes: Asics excite4 3

Honestly a really slow run but a lot of hills and hot and I was super tired so I'm not calling it an easy run. First week hitting 60 miles!

Pollo plus 4 strides on the track. Only Coach, a kid who graduated 2 years ago, 2 junior guys, and I did it, plus a girl who was a ways back, with everyone else doing slow DQ. I gotta say I'm concerned for the girls team this year. A lot of girls haven't been showing up (for various [mostly] valid reasons, although if you're really dedicated, you prioritize running over those reasons), and I've been the only one training consistently and getting in mileage and workouts. Which is concerning currently being the fastest girl because I'm not that fast. I hate to make judgments this early in the season, but I really doubt we'll make it to state as a team.

running intervals 1:03:00 [4] 13.0 km (4:51 / km)

5-4-3-3-4-5 at Maple Hills. Coach said it was a tempo and to "enjoy the pace, but not too much." I felt strong the whole way through but not like I was slacking.

conditioning (core) 5:00 [3]
