climbing (sport) 1:00:00 [3]

Bear Canyon with Jack and Noah. Did my first 2 lead climbs!! I climbed 4 routes, passed on a fifth because we were climbing with headlamps, it was pretty cold, and I was getting tired. Jack had a sketchy fall on his last climb, so I'm glad I decided to call it when I did.

6 sets of 2min, 1min, 30s with 1min rest. Started strong, second and third sets was feeling it, felt good again towards the end. Legs, especially calves, were super tight, I'm guessing still from the 14K. Gotta stretch n roll

conditioning (lifting) 15:00 [2]

round 1 of the "power day" lifting routine Erin made for the JNT.
2x2 Step back lunges, 95lbs
2x2 Squats with front rack, 95lbs
2x3 Push press, 55lbs
2x2 Deadlift, 95lbs

went easyish on the weight because I want to be sure to get form down before doing real heavy weights. Power day is meant to be short reps and sets.

running 51:55 [3] 11.27 km (4:36 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-2000 6

Afternoon run with some douchey guys from the running group chat (long story, one guy made a mistake of adding his dumb friends). Anyway, out of spite I suggested to them we do a chill 7 miles, then proceeded to take it out at 7:10-7:20ish pace with the goal of dropping them. They were DYING. Now I'm sorta tired and have to do a workout tomorrow morning. Worth it? Definitely.

slow run to Main Street and back with the MSU Trail Junkies. I think I'm gonna try ro get back into this club because they actually do cool stuff on other days of the week. So if I can make friends with the older kids, that means getting rides to weekend long runs and other workouts.
