Saturday Jun 21

Orienteering 32:00 [4]*** 7 km (4:34 / km)
spiked:20/20c
2 sprint courses - I set the courses for Kathryn's sprint distance training.
I ran first, putting out chalk marks on the features for Kathryn, Clare, Liggo and Simon to find.
This was my first hard running in a couple of weeks. I ran at about 85%. I could still feel a little soreness in my right hip and hamstring, but if anything, it got better during the run. I don't think it slowed me down too much though.
Kathryn looked to be running well, at a similar pace to Liggo.
Orienteering warm up/down 20:00 [2]4 km (5:00 / km)

Friday Jun 20

Running 30:00 [2]6 km (5:00 / km)
A jog to check out Melbourne Uni and Carlton Gardens courses for tomorrow's sprint distance training for Kathryn.
As Clare has warned me, there was some new construction zones in Melbourne Uni, so I had to alter the course a little.

Monday Jun 16

Running 40:00 [2]8 km (5:00 / km)
weight:69.1kg
Easy lap of the tan with the midday milers.
My leg was a bit tight, and I could still feel a some very minor soreness for the first half of the run. It seemed to get better in the second half though, particularly after stopping for some stretches.

I plan to continue to take it easy this week, and listen to my body.

Sunday Jun 15

Running 20:00 [1]4 km (5:00 / km)
Very easy jog to test out the hamstring.
I was a bit tentative getting going, but it wasn't too bad.
I didn't feel anything that told me that I should stop running, so I will give it a bit of a longer run a couple of times this week and see how it goes.
