Saturday Jul 5

Running tempo 30:20 [4]8.04 km (3:46 / km) +100m 3:33 / km
1 full lap of King's Park at tempo pace. Started about 800m SW of Saw Ave, and ran clockwise (uphill first).
Running warm up/down 20:00 [2]4 km (5:00 / km)

Friday Jul 4

Running 1:31:00 [3]17.5 km (5:12 / km)
Another long run around King's Park finishing off all of the tracks that I hadn't yet visited on this trip. This run was focussed mostly on the tracks of the northern half of the park. Quite a bit of rain at times, but still very pleasant for running.

Thursday Jul 3

Running intervals 1:03:00 [4]12 km (5:15 / km)
500m on, 500m off. A full lap of King's Park (about 8.85km)
A good solid run, with accelerations close to 3:30 pace, and offs around 4:30 pace.
My right toe is still a little sore at times, especially when fully stretched.

Wednesday Jul 2

Running long 1:43:00 [2]20 km (5:09 / km)
A long meandering run through King's Park. The aim was to run on all of the tracks that I haven't covered yet on this trip. I've run all of the tracks in the southern half of the map now, and just have a few to go in the north. I should be able to cover those in the next couple of days.

Tuesday Jul 1

Running intervals 45:00 [5]6 km (7:30 / km)
Today's goal was to run a set of 1000m intervals and see if I could break 3 minutes. I ran 6 of them, 3 downhill from the DNA tower in King's Park, 3 uphill in the opposite direction.
I broke 3 minutes on 2 of them, and ran another in 3:00.
Running warm up/down 44:00 [2]9 km (4:53 / km)

Monday Jun 30

Running 48:00 [3]10 km (4:48 / km)
Easy recovery run around King's Park. Increased the tempo in the second half.

Sunday Jun 29

Running long 1:29:00 [2]15 km (5:56 / km)
Long run through King's Park and the Perth CBD, returning to Shenton Park. King's Park is magnificent in winter with nice green grass and soft sandy tracks.
