Note

The health system is stupid. I can't get in for an MRI scan until Monday 4th May, and I won't find out my results until the 7th May.
By that time, I'll probably be pain free and they won't be able to find anything on the scan!

I feel like I am treading water in the meantime, not knowing exactly what the problem is and what to do about it.

Running 50:00 [2] 10.0 km (5:00 / km)

Feeling about 90% fit today, so I jogged a lap and a half of the tan, instead of the usual Corporate Cup race.
My groin was pretty good, a definate improvement on the last couple of days. I didn't want to over do it though, as I would like to be able to go on a few runs at Noosa this weekend.

Note
(injured)

I'm still sore, but in a different place now. It is my right hip that is giving me trouble today.

Still waiting for my sports doctor to ring me back and organise some scans.

Orienteering race 30:00 [1] 2.0 km (15:00 / km)
(injured)

I slept ok, but when I got up I knew pretty soon that I was in a bit of trouble. When I tried to lift my right leg, I got some severe pain in my right groin/thigh. I tried to walk it off, but it was no use. After driving to the event I put myself through a late fitness test, but failed. Running today was out of the question.

I picked up my map and went for a short map walk to check out the terrain, before returning and helping out with some commentary.

My sports physician told me to call him when I next experience pain, so that is what I will be doing tomorrow.
