Stage 1 Time Trial
A long steady uphill climb for the first 2.5km.

Stage 4.
I ran ok, but when I got to the end of this leg my team car was nowhere to be found!
I jogged on a little in case they had overshot, but there was no sign of them. All of a sudden, our race was pretty much over.

I got a lift with another team car to the end of stage 5. Duff turned up eventually. He and another car had driven 2km beyond the stage end.
I guess they were relying on me to navigate, but forgot that I was running, and no one else had any idea how to read a map.

Stage 9 Big Hill

I took this on at 90%. It is not my favourite stage, and I wanted to save some energy for a crack at the Stage 11 record.

Stage 11 Fenney's Lne
I went out chasing my own stage record of 12:49 from 2010. I started well, but just faded in the 3rd km when the heat was getting to me. I also had a small headwind for the first 2kms, which doesn't help when you chasing stage records.
I was happy to have run the second fastest ever time on this stage, and can say that nobody else has run faster than this on this leg.
