By map 2 it was raining hard and I lost concentration. I was more worried about slipping in the mud and watching my feet than reading the map. I mucked up the route choice to 16 by not planning the leg. I slipped in the mud at 16 and almost again at 22. I had to be very careful not to fall and hurt myself in the rain. By 25 a hail storm had arrived and the horse stand for the finish control had blown over!
I tried on the sprint leg to 27, but almost got blown backwards by the wind.
I wanted to have a go at the hill leg, but it was too slippery to be able to attack the control in the mud.
