Intervals (6x600m) 1:05:00 [2] 7.9 km (8:14 / km)
shoes: Mizuno 4ic

Was feeling absolutely crap about 5 minutes before I left for training but once I had had a chat with the guys and did a few drills I was feeling a bit more lively. We were doing 6x600m on a 2:30 interval, I was consistently hitting them on 1:42 so I was pretty happy.

Orienteering race (Compas sport cup) 1:04:00 [4] 9.5 km (6:44 / km)
shoes: VJ Falcon

Out at Stirling Uni today. Was a really nice area but I'm still really struggling on the climbs. I tried to push a bit harder on them than last week but still ended up a long long way down the results. JK is getting close so fingers crossed I can make it round that ok.

Running 36:30 [2] 8.0 km (4:34 / km)
shoes: Mizuno 4ic

Similarly to yesterday, I had been hoping to get out for about 10km but I really wasn't feeling it again today. The concrete just takes all my energy and gives nothing back. Glasgow green is pretty soul destroying too. Looking forward to some spongy stuff tomorrow!

Running (gentil run) 33:30 [2] 7.3 km (4:35 / km)
shoes: Mizuno 4ic

After my legs feeling so heavy yesterday I really felt like I needed a shake down run today. Didn't quite go as far as I wanted because I was between classes and wanted to make sure I still had time for a shower. Managed to get a not bad loop round Glasgow green but there is still way too much tarmac for my liking. Can't really avoid it though.

Intervals (3x2km) 55:00 [2] 9.3 km (5:55 / km)
shoes: Mizuno 4ic

Session with the harriers again today. 3x2km at sighthill. No idea what the recovery was but it wasn't long enough, I was really struggling and my legs felt so heavy. I was running them just under 6 minutes so going by the time I was doing my mile reps in I'm not convinced the loop was 2k but whatever.

Track (#wetwednesdays) 1:06:00 [2] 8.9 km (7:25 / km)
shoes: Mizuno 4ic

Back to the track again. Was a long day today, was building my plane in the morning and was visiting someone at the hospital so wasn't really feeling like pushing myself very hard. Decided to do 2x(350,300,250,200,150) all at 800m pace and faster. I forgot how fast 800m pace was but had fun. My ankle was much better today too, glad it didn't come to anything.

Hill Reps (10med) 40:00 [2] 5.2 km (7:42 / km)
(injured) shoes: Mizuno 4ic

Back out to the same hill as last week. I have been advised that I should be doing longer hills but I don't really know where to find them. ankle still giving me a bit of bother, I don't think it appreciates all the tarmac.
