Monday Jul 12, 2004 #

hiking 1:50:00 [2] 3.5 mi (31:26 / mi)

Hike to Icy "lake" and lower Reid falls above Skagway, AK with Ted. Icy lake is filled from a 10" diameter pipe that feeds from a dam at the top of Reid falls and then just blasts into the woods about 200m away from the falls. The pipe has been recently replaced, so the stream seems to just flow over the leaves and around trees and such.

Sunday Jul 11, 2004 #

hiking 4:22:00 [2] 7.0 mi (37:26 / mi)

Mendenhall Glacier, West Glacier trail, Juneau, AK with Ted Good. Awesome.
