Saturday Mar 19

trail run long 5:11:23 [3] 50 km (6:14 / km)
HAT run at Susquehanna SP. My first ultra! (maybe counts as my first marathon too?). Weather and trail conditions were spectacular. 40F at start, 55F at finish, sunny, very little wind. Lots of climb. Ran with a friend from work. Luckily she set a pace I could manage. There's an O-map covering about 2/3 of the course, so I carried the map and read along during the first loop. Oreos! Got some sweet loot too. A longsleeve coolmaxish shirt with race logo, a mighty fine knit wool hat with embroidered logo, and a nice runner's mesh ball cap, also with embroidered logo. We finished about 70th in the field of 420. My friend was 8th female. Valerie Meyer was working finish and results.

Thursday Mar 17

trail run 31:23 [3] 7 km (4:29 / km)
Easy short run to stretch out.

Tuesday Mar 15

road run 56:04 [4] 14.4 km (3:54 / km)
Roland Park.

Sunday Mar 13

orienteering 1:24:27 [2] *** 6.2 km (13:37 / km)
Helping an SVO member with vetting and course setting at Rocky Ridge.
orienteering 9:42 [3] 1.8 km (5:23 / km)
Ran a couple more legs. There's a new *road* leading N out of center field near the Superfund site.
Note
Was almost late for vetting due to playing Catching Features (I finally have a machine that's up to the task). Time to get the full version.
