Rachel dragged me out for a little run in KP. Not loving it early on but the second half was much better. Thank you Rachel.

Cycling 30:00 [1] 10.0 km (20.0 kph)

Thought I might try to fit in a couple of hard laps around KP for lunch but on the way home I remembered Yeshi would be there. The thought of trying to change/shower/lunch while she cleaned was enough to put me off so I just rolled around Nedlands/Dalkeith in my work clothes for half an hour instead.

Little walk/jog in KP. Wasn't really sore but I wasn't enjoying it either.

H3 at Jumbuck Hill.
Got there late after Amy's tennis tournament and I didn't think my heel would cope well with a long course in this terrain so just did the H3.
Started poorly, planned to contour left from the start but I felt I was having to go further left than I expected to get around the big boulder and dithered a bit thinking of going right on the track for a bit instead. Ended up sticking with the original plan but was never really sure where I was until I hit the cliffs just before and above the control so was a bit hesitant. 2, 3, 4 were good. 5 was slow at the end as I couldn't make sense of the rocks S of the control and thought I might be there when I still had a bit to go. Old map on TBT actually seems to match better what I was seeing here. Rest of the course was pretty good. I was very cautious early on 7 and then saw it from a distance so could have been more aggressive. Might have been faster heading N out of 7 and running more on the tracks but that would have been boring. Thought I could have done better getting out of the green leaving 8 but the splits suggest I did better than anyone else. Heel seemed to cope reasonably well, a bit sore at times but never bad.

Running 6:00 [2] 1.0 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Saucony Triumph

Put my cycling gear on to head out for a ride and then realised I had left my bike at work last night. Put some running shoes on and jogged to work in my cycling gear to retrieve the bike.

Cycling 51:07 intensity: (15:00 @1) + (10:00 @2) + (26:07 @3) 20.22 km (23.7 kph) +181m

A couple of laps of KP on the bike. Had thought about a third shorter lap up the road through the middle but by half way around the second lap I had a bit of a battle to convince myself to complete the lap rather than turning off at Saw Ave.
