Running 48:50 intensity: (1:02 @1) + (34:55 @2) + (12:47 @3) + (6 @4) 8.59 km (5:41 / km) +62m 5:29 / km
ahr:126 max:156 weight:73kg shoes: Brooks Glycerin 15 Black

Easy run in KP. Trying to switch back to morning runs to help get some consistency in my running but it probably wasn't the best day to try after an afternoon long run yesterday. Started with a lap of the oval to help loosen up before crossing into KP. Moving more freely by the end but the right Achilles was still feeling a little tender.

Running long 1:30:12 intensity: (2:15 @1) + (44:52 @2) + (42:59 @3) + (6 @4) 16.41 km (5:30 / km) +144m 5:16 / km
ahr:128 max:154 shoes: Solar Glide Blue and White

Easy 5k loop with Rachel then kept going by myself. Too soon after eating for me so I was feeling really uncomfortable for most of this. Really wished I hadn't had that extra toast after lunch. Had a toilet stop half way through and felt a little more comfortable after that but also felt more tired. Felt as though I should cut it short but couldn't convince myself.

Running 1:02:26 intensity: (5:49 @1) + (47:15 @2) + (9:13 @3) + (3 @4) + (6 @5) 11.12 km (5:37 / km) +94m 5:23 / km

Easy run through UWA and around KP with Rachel. Feeling similar to yesterday, calves a bit tight still but otherwise good.
Had thought I might go for a ride with Matt in the afternoon but decided to help Rachel painting instead. Matt was working late all week so couldn't fit in a night ride.

Running 27:59 intensity: (1:06 @1) + (16:22 @2) + (10:31 @3) 5.27 km (5:18 / km) +30m 5:10 / km
ahr:128 max:143 shoes: Brooks Glycerin 15 Black

Easy run in KP. Checked the time at 6:20 and thought I should get up and go for a run but I didn't actually get out until about 7:50. Made to feel a bit more guilty about my laziness when I ran past Alex, who sits next to me at work, walking to work as I got to Rosalie Park.
Lower calves were tight and the right Achilles, between Achilles and outside of ankle, was a bit tender but otherwise I felt quite good. Surprised how fast it was, I was expecting something over 30 minutes.

Running tempo 53:45 intensity: (3:51 @1) + (12:47 @2) + (16:44 @3) + (20:16 @4) + (7 @5) 10.3 km (5:13 / km) +133m 4:54 / km

Zamia trail tempo/time trial. Felt like pushing hard today for some reason but I wasn't sure if my legs would be up for it. Did a longer warm up and felt ok but not great so thought I would try to start fastish but be prepared to back off if it got too hard.
I felt quite good as soon as I got going on the effort and knew I was running the downhill much faster than before but it was feeling quite hard so I expected to start to struggle when I hit the climbs. I tried to make sure I didn't go too hard up the early hills but as I continued to feel quite good I gained a bit more confidence to keep pushing to the end and still felt strong up the last steep hill.
I couldn't remember what I had done before but I had 21 minutes in mind as an ambitious target and managed to just sneak under that so I was quite pleased. I think that was about a minute faster than my previous time.

Easy lunch run with Rachel in KP. Felt alright once I warmed up a bit.
