Easy run in KP with Rachel. Left calf feeling a bit tight and fatigued. It gradually eased off and everything else felt less sore than usual but I still felt as though I might be damaging myself a bit.

Claisebrook Metro Series. Very close first few controls and I wasn't super quick out of the blocks so had queue a bit at the first few. Heaps of people cutting through the out of bounds between 5 and 10 while Liam and I ran around the path. On my own once I went under the bridge as the medium didn't need to go that far and I went the opposite direction to most on the Northern section. Made a last second decision at 11 to go to 15 next and had serious doubts about it for a while but seemed to turn out ok. I was 48 seconds behind Hadrien and Sten having done the same up to 11 and ended up only 43 seconds behind at the finish. Took a while to decide if I should get 12 but once I'd decided not to the rest seemed pretty straight forward. Saw Hadrien at 27 and then again heading out of 28 as I was heading in. I knew I needed to get all the controls between there and the finish so didn't have much chance of catching him. Sten was nearby too but I didn't see him until he made a mistake at 9 and I saw him leaving as I ran in but he pulled away from there as he was trying to chase down Hadrien. Pretty happy with how I felt, not much pain and felt quite comfortable running a solid pace.

I felt a lot better going out to throw the frisbee yesterday evening than I had in the morning so decided to aim for an evening run today and hoped to go a little faster than yesterday. I did feel better and run faster but was sore at the back of the ankles throughout although it did ease off considerably. Felt as though I was going quite fast through the middle but km splits suggest otherwise.

Started out with Rachel but didn't feel able to keep up so went a different way to avoid temptation. I did get progressively faster but my fastest km was still slower than Rachel's average.
