Run 1: 3hr rolling/hilly trail run at an easy effort, mixing in power hiking on the harder hills.

Went camping in the Belgian "mountains" of the Ardennes. It was really beautiful with outstanding spring weather. Got my long run in down there running through lots of forests and little villages. Many more and longer hills than I am used to in Brussels. Great run.

Run 3: 24:00 Minute On/Minute Off flat workout. For the on minutes, run 7:30 pace, and then go 10:00 pace for the off minutes. Normal warmup and cool-down.

Ran exactly as RX.

Tuesday Mar 7, 2017 #

shoes: Altra Lone Peak 3.0

Run 2: MaxV02 hill workout. Normal 15:00 easy warm-up and several flat strides. Then for this treadmill workout, run 8 x 2:00 at 10:30/8% with 2:00 of flat, slow jogging recovery between each one. Cool-down with another 10 - 15:00 of easy running.

THis one was really hard, but felt good. I made it through everything as RX, but after #8 was done I have to walk for about 1 min before starting the cool down as I was absolutely smoked!
