Running tempo 20:15 [4] 4.5 km (4:30 / km)
After a week on the bike machines to give my knees a break, I headed out for my first 5k attempt in a long time. I beat my best time by 15 seconds, but sadly I discovered that the route is actually 4.5 km, not 5 km.
This route has some very severe hills though, so I'm confident I could at least maintain the same pace for another half kilometre on an easier route, giving an estimated time off 22.5 minutes for the full 5k. Now I just have to test that next week!
