came 6th. it didn't really matter because pete matthew and daniel got a 1-2-3 anyway but i didn't have a great run so i was quite annoyed. i made a few mistakes in the first bit of the forest but when we went into the bracken forest i messed up quite a few. i was first out on my course so there were no tracks through the bracken and on some of them i was standing a few metres away but i couldn't see because the bracken was so high.

came 4th on my first blue It was quite a hard course because it was the JEC long race for W18 who'd run it just before. i managed to mess up number one somehow probably because i knew kathryn barr was a minute after me and matthew was 2 minutes after me. i got the fastest split on the long leg 3-4 which i was pretty pleased about because i usually messed it up. I just pathed it all the way round while everyone else went through the horrible stuff. 4-5 i also got the fastest split and at 6 i was winning by 20 seconds to pete because he took the path too. then i went into the grotty forest. i messed up almost every single one on the butterfly loop and even managed to mess up 7 and 13 even though they were the same control. i had slipped down to fifth but then got the fastest split on the long leg out the forest. lost a bit of time on the last loop and got really muddy but i was pretty pleased with 4th place.
