Bit of a mad one in the Sierra de grazalema with mum and jura. Really nice climb got to the top in like 25 mins. Then the trail we were going to descend wasn’t there at all and we had to go through loads of gorse and ended up rock climbing round the side of this cliff. Pretty mad. Altitude ranged from 850- 1500m. Pretty mad

Jhi relay. Came in 4th 3-4 mins back on leaders. Immediately on the back foot after losing a minute in the circle at 1. Worked so hard to catch David on 2 then me and him were still 30s or so back from matt and pete. Dug deep to bring us back to them but was spent and not thinking straight. Fucked up the gaffle big time just wandering around the top while matt David and Pete disappeared. Held on to 4th Ali came in after meaning a solid 1 2 4 5 for scotland boys on first leg. Scotland couldn’t have done much better and never thought it’d be that close. Such a fun weekend and well organised

Jhi individual. Came 2nd by 4 mins to matt but can’t complain as it was v technical. Confused at the start because I had the same 3 controls as Eddie narbett but that was before the actual terrain. 3-4 just took slow and quite high ticking off marshes and seemed to work. Visibility was shit the whole way round so if I’d got lost I would’ve been screwed but kept on top of it. Only real mistakes were 5, 8 and 12 adding up to maybe 2 minutes but still surprised with result as I didn’t feel that fast. Good fun and real orienteering
