ORIENTEERING 19:44 [3] 4.57 km (4:19 / km) +78m 3:59 / km
shoes: X-claw 275s

Jircs relay 3rd on leg one. After decking it in the banter start I picked things up on the tiny ascent and punched one in 2nd behind jim. Let him nav for a few controls and then pushed on the uphill when matt and pete came through. We pushed and got a gap and I stuck to my gaffle, we came back together again and I was on petes gaffle for the rest so pushed. Matt joined back on the penultimate control and we pushed into the finish. The team ended up 4th but second scottish after the nw leapfrogged us.

Probably cleanest run I’ve ever had so pretty happy. Will definitely remember this as an awesome relay. Could’ve done with si air don’t worry though scotland will have it next weekend-why? Because we’re the best

Jircs 7th. Didn’t enjoy the area at all not really a nav challenge just a bramble challenge. Lost ages looking for hidden controls. Pete and matt did the job as usual and Scotland took an easy win but not my best day. Scored a consolation hat trick in the football at least
