RUNNING 1:01:00 [3] 11.67 km (5:14 / km)
shoes: X-claw 275s

3 warm ups and 3 cool downs with Pete around east glasgow. Not used to running on tarmac was pretty cool. Given me decent mileage nice

ORIENTEERING 13:34 [3] 3.35 km (4:03 / km)
shoes: X-claw 275s

Glasgow Parks around commonwealth games village. Good fun lost most of my time to pete on no 2 going to wrong alley was lost for a bit.

ORIENTEERING 14:00 [3] 3.3 km (4:15 / km)

2nd race at tollcross. Died and made a few mistakes but lost time mainly on speed. Thought oh well I won’t make any mistakes on the next race catch two minutes on pete easy win

ORIENTEERING 26:06 [3] 4.99 km (5:14 / km) +30m 5:05 / km
shoes: X-claw 275s

Not very good messed up the first 4 and Andrew Craig and Ben caught me oh dear. Sat back for a few then did the classic Macmillan go to the front don’t look at the map get everyone completely lost until we’re all stood in the wrong marsh trying to find the control- sorry guys. This is why the best race I had was that time I followed gooch the whole way round at jhi relay.
The race wasn’t over tho and once the others had found the control I let them nav until there was an easy way to the next control up a hill so opened up a gap. Got lost coming down the hill so just waited for the train then we had to go back up the hill and I opened up a gap to come in second easy win felt like Mo Farah doing a tactical race and moving to the front with a few laps to go. Good times get to do more sprint orienteering next weekend yas
