Trying to get rid of doms. Went for 2k before lunch and then 2k before tea- just nice to get out too. Dunno what the best way to get rid of doms maybe this worked will see tomorrow but tbh wouldn’t be surprised if they are worse naturally

Dumyat brown - 4th 6-7mins down on Matt. Glutes absolutely wrecked from yesterday but after warm up realised it’d be fine. Loved it on the hill what a day- feeling so lucky to run 3 races on beaut hills this weekend. Slowly getting cleaner and better at planning legs but still very scrappy in and out of controls. Still, fitness wasn’t too bad looking at WinSplits managed to win the monster leg to 14 haha belter the slog up the path and extra climb payed off. Chippy from heaven afterwards and band cancelled cos rangers lost haha

Wu with fin (changed my start to make it 3/3 uphill jogs to the start together this year) and then a wd with Pete around the campus. Wish I’d gone on for a minute and two seconds to get my third 34:44 of the weekend but it wasn’t to be. Legs absolutely broken will be some easy jogs next few days but on holiday now so looking forwards to some more hill

Birnam hill race- 11th overall and 2nd u21. Pushed on the uphill and got to the top in 7th, but was dropped 4 places on the downhill from not wanting to die or have doms for tomorrow. Really enjoyed it good first hill race experience, also shoutout to fin for the quality footage. I think my strides must be too long cos I looked like I was jogging

Class middle distance starting two minutes ahead of fin. Stood still at 3 and swept up by the big man so we messed up the next few together. Loved the downhill legs, apart from decking it to 11, but was leading fin and in control navving- though this isn’t too bad I can read the map. Then we mp’d 14 damn it man. Would’ve snatched a decent result but tbh such good fun anyway

Wu for the hill race with jura and then wu to the start with fin for the second weekend in a row crazy eh. Didn’t race like last week on the wd tho we had a battle to the finish instead. I had it in the bag til I shouted cavendish when I overtook him and he sped up, hitting the finish at the same time but I tried to air it and overshot so he won by default.

The craziest thing today was the fact I got the exact same time on hill race and orienteering by accident how mad is that. Looking forward to tomorrow liking the look of an open hill- but is it pronounced doomyat dumbyat or dum-aye-at because Pete’s wrong on this one
