Sunday Feb 7 #

Trail 1:29:00 [3] 16.48 km (5:24 / km) +398m 4:49 / km
shoes: Terraultra

Bnb with will and ewan. Good fun, legs a bit tired from yesterday’s effort though. Nice dusting of snow on the trails

Saturday Feb 6 #

Road 29:00 [3] 5.0 km (5:48 / km) +100m 5:16 / km
shoes: X talon 255

Hill 30:00 [3] 4.22 km (7:07 / km) +620m 4:06 / km
shoes: X talon 255

SA virtual hill challenge. Chose reps from the bog straight up the crags, about 90m a rep. Managed just under 7 but didn’t realise you had to finish in the same place. I guess they’ll take off my last lap leaving me with around 550 climb but if I’d know the rule I wouldve got an extra half lap easy. Bit annoying but pleased with the effort anyway

Friday Feb 5 #

Hill 1:09:28 [3] 9.8 km (7:05 / km) +240m 6:19 / km
shoes: X talon 210

Three seat days in a row, nice
Did a 2k on the erg too, 7 minutes dead, solid

Thursday Feb 4 #

Hill 1:17:20 [3] 9.86 km (7:51 / km) +503m 6:15 / km
shoes: X talon 210

Wednesday Feb 3 #

Hill 59:38 [3] 8.75 km (6:49 / km) +475m 5:22 / km
shoes: X talon 210

Tuesday Feb 2 #

Road 1:00:30 [3] 13.6 km (4:27 / km)
shoes: Terraultra

Brutal reintroduction to sessions on the meadows. IT band tightened up badly in the third set of 8 so called it at that. It’ll just be the lack of speed work in last couple months, plus tarmac maybe. Anyway needed that shock to wake the legs up

Monday Feb 1 #

Mountain 1:27:00 [3] 11.97 km (7:16 / km) +900m 5:17 / km
shoes: Mudclaw G 260

Nipped up the cobbler on my way through to edi. Lucky with the views and packed snow underfoot, not so lucky with the parking ticket when I got back down
