| Geocaching race down in parys, rite opposite the site of the uge event here at the start of the year. Lots of rushing around by car and then jumping out to hunt. Nearly every cache involved runs of about 100 m - 1km. The one cache had about a half km run followed by a paddle to an island in the middle of the vaal river, good thing i have been practising, i will atest to epics being stable but very slow. Managed to pass the rabans on the upstream leg. One or two stretches through thick grass with low thorn bushes where mear normal non orienteers counld not keep up ;)
Was a fun race and we came second although we were by far the fastest team, just cause our english is not so good we lost. |

| A good run today, was pretty quick and i felt good. legs have been very stiff this week so hopefully they will loosen up now. Looking forward to some orienteering this weekend as it has been a long time since we last competed |

| Second attempt at paddeling today. Went with alex in our K2 zeus. From the start it promised to be eventful as we turned over in the first 30 seconds. We promptly took out the seats and set into a fairly good if not wobbly rythm. Only took one other swim during the rest of the session, right in front of Dabs. Quite a few ppl paddeling today given the weather and the wind. I feel that my balence at least is improving but for now i am gonna stick to not using a seat |

| Went this evening with an old friend to do some indoor climbing, lets just say i aint as good as the other ppl, i blame it on this mornings exersise though, not the fact my biceps are half the size. Was fun though , real tough upper body work out. Did about 5 walls and belaying about 7 climbs. |

| A hard long one today, i can feel my fitness is improving slowly as i pushed pretty hard but my heart rate was at a decent level, compared to last time i did this run when it was above 185. Legs were tiered and i had to concerntrait to keep my rythm going. |

| A nice slow one to ease the legs, felt good and i could have maintained this pace for a much further distance. Been dizzy again today. Gonna have another attempt at paddeling in the first part of next week. Been waiting for my bike to come back from being serviced for 2 weeks now and i wanna go for a ride |
