Orienteering race (CC 1) 1:00:27 [4] **** 5.6 km (10:48 / km)
spiked:14/23c shoes: Salamon XAComp2

First colour coded event of the year. Big change from the sprint series. Was a tricky event in the technical moreleta kloof. Made harder by 1.8m high grass and huge numbers of weeds turning some runnable areas into fight. Finished 5th, 8 min behind nic. Not happy with theis result. Did not feel fast and i had a fair number of mistakes but the difference is a bit large. i think it would have helped to run later with all the paths through the grass, i was one of the first out there today. Need some more training as my legs were getting pretty sore near the end.

Very short but hard run. Wanted to loosen my legs before tomorrow. Pushed at my max pace the whole way. Legs felt just like they did during the 1500 m races i used to run. Completly dead at the end. Looking forward to some good o tomorrow. My wits friends have chickened out

Went for my first long run since the cold aterted almost 3 weeks ago. Feeling pretty unfit. I took it fairly easy not pushing, but still my breathing was very heavy. Git two stitches during the run. Leg legs held up pretty well with the flat 7 and 8th km at 4.16 and 4.15. Put the last 1.5 km they started to die.

Tough day on the body. Good for strength building.
Started off my carrying my 80 kg friend up from the bottom of central block to exams hall, legs buggered at the top.
20 min sparing session before class.
Tough class with squats and exersises that made my legs cramp.
Gonna go run on thursday and get some sort of distance in before the weekend
