I had to run the longest legs so it was a nice training to push hard and navigate fast. There were no many interesting and challenging legs.

It was a really challenging setting and there were not bands. The contours were confusing because they were much softer than we thought (Luis Nogueira and me). I made a parallel mistake in the first control of 2:30mins. I caught on Luisma and passed him in the sixth control, but on my way to the 8th I was doubting and thinking more of Luis than in the map-reading. Thus, I started checking his direction and saw he was going to 9 control but I was doubting because I thought the control was further than where he punched. I decided to go behind Luis (because he is one of the best orienteers in Spain) and forget about my thoughts (which were right). To sum up, we didnt punch 8 and 9, making too much time mistake to relocate ourselves in the 10th control.

The bands were not located where the control description showed. I lost lot of time finding the first and sixteenth control because I didnt see the bands (they were located inside vegetation(!!?)). I made little mistakes of 1 min in control 4 and 6, wrong direction and not really focused. Anyway I wasnt going at competition speed, just calm and even I did not punch control number 17.

Low speed just to enjoy in the forest and forget about competing for a while. Sometimes is is necessary to train without pressure and calm. Anyway I made a couple of little mistakes in controls 12 and 14.
