Ride out at Stromlo with Peter and Al, arranged so that we would be at the top at midnight to watch the fireworks. They were smaller than we had expected from that far away but more pleasant than being in the city.
Al and I did the bottom part and peter started up the hill - we didn't catch him (Al would have except he waited for me for a bit). As I'm so unfit it was very hard trying to keep up with Al!
