O-Ringen Day 5 - Chase
Actually so so fun, love races like this, and the area was so nice. Started 6s behind someone (actually ended up accidentally starting a couple of seconds early, so was actually 4s), and caught them immediately, but I then overshot no.1 which she nailed and therefore left me. Other than this was pretty accurate (some smallish wobbles and time losses, but nothing compared to the last few days), but also never felt exactly in control. Twisted my ankle (with an ankle brace on) on the way to no.5, but luckily was really close to a water station, so managed to get some cold water straight onto it so carried on and wasn't too bad. Only dropped 4 places to finish 22nd overall, so not too bad.
Whole O-Ringen could have gone a lot better, therefore considering how unstable I was, this was probably a good result

O-Ringen Day 4 - Long
One of the most frustrating days - just the first few controls I seemed to forget how to orienteer. I knew it was going to be difficult, so took it slow and was trying to be careful, but still couldn't seem to manage it and ended up relocating way further away than I thought was possible. Got a lot better after that, but still was feeling quite negative towards it. Bailed out and took the very safe route to no.6, which was probably a good idea given the circumstances.

(watch problems - didnt have satellites at the start, then died)

O-Ringen Day 3 - Middle
Really really enjoyable course, and frustratingly, like last year, was my best chance at a stage win, but just ruined it on 1/2 controls. Started really well on the top, but then had a v bad no.5 and about another minute on no.6 Good apart from that. Bitter-sweet

O-Ringen Day 2 - Long
Tricky stuff. Not clean at all, small time loss on pretty much everything which was frustrating, but mainly on no.6 which was at least a good 5+ minutes. Relocated in the end though, and had a nice chat with Tim which wondering around. Good route-choice to no.7 though I recon

O-Ringen Day 1 - Long
Mostly pretty good, few hesitations round the beginning, but nothing massive, then one big mistake on no.7 - turns out I actually nailed a control about 10m away, but it threw me and I then couldnt relocate on the intricate hillside. Feeling god
