Aim was to be up Braeriach for sunset as it was a gorgeous day. Unfortunately it got cloudy heading over but still nice enough.
Cycled up to Rothiemurcus Lodge, then walked up the Lairg Gru and cut across to Gharbh Corrie, and scrambled up the NE ridge to Angels Peak. This is where there was some sunset over the hills far west, but not as good as we'd hoped. Over to Braeriach where the head torches came on and the rest was in pitch black. Clouds completely cleared for an amazing night sky, and looking down to Aviemore and lights of Inverness and else where. Walked back down the path to Rothiemurcus and a rapid decsent on the bikes back to the car. Arrived at the car at 10:20pm. Pretty awesome

Orienteering 21:08 [3] 3.35 km (6:19 / km) +150m 5:09 / km
shoes: Gel Asics Cumulus 17

Kinmylies sprint training with Kat. Most of the course for the northern night cup last winter. Map memory taking turns on each control (memorised while other person was leading). Tried to push the pace a bit and seemed to be able to do this well. Naving well. Followed by an hour of extremely high intensity trampolining...

shoes: X-talon 212 Green/black

Moray Secondary Schools Orienteering Champs - Gordonstoun
Not much to say about this really, easy nav meant the running boys were fast and I had very tired legs so I couldn't keep up. I won the girls though and Forres won overall so all good
4 PM

Cycling 1:22:00 [2] 25.26 km (3:15 / km)

Cycle in culbin on MTB with Kirsty. Went on a mission to find the seals, but they weren't out today. Awesome evening made it pretty amazing anyway!
Went into culbin at Wellhill and all the way around the edge keeping as close to the water as possible, until the track down to Clodymoss. Out and round to Brodie and home

Running 44:00 [5] 6.0 km (7:20 / km) +228m 6:10 / km
shoes: Gel Asics Cumulus 17

Time and distance is just a guess right now, because when I was about to upload this, I found my watch was still running - having driven home, showered and had dinner............ (I'll have to get stuff when I look at the graphs from connect)
Anyway, warm up lap of the park
8xpolice hills [rest jogging back down]
All between 1:30-1:33
Every single one was a grind. Legs were just sore and tired and honestly didn't think I would make 8.
About the biggest cool down I could muster with Kirsty... The whole 400ish meters back to the car...
