SHI Relay -
Team of Kirsten Maxwell, Me, Madara Brice
Was set off in 2nd being chased down by Emma, Kim and Cat. Surprisingly enough, Cat passed by no.2, and Emma wasnt too long after. (Didn't see Kim, but she also passed around this point...). Once I was then in a more accurate position I settled in to it and started enjoying it more. Made a couple of mistakes, but generally OK.
Team finished 6th, not bad for Scotland3!

SHI Individual - Florencecourt
Didn't really get my warm-up right as there wasn't much space up at the start (which I was told before I left, but thought I could jog to the start but it was rather too steep...), therefore took a while to really get in to the running. Felt really slogggish going up the hill to 1 and half of 2. Caught Emir (6mins) at 3, but passed her properly when I took a better route choice to 5 (round the path), and got a boost from having passed her so felt really strong for the rest of the course. Good to see I have to stamina to still be racing strong at 70mins ish, especially in this tough moorland hilltop terrain. No mistakes as such either, a couple of slight misses in the control circles, but nothing major.
4th W20... Really happy with this result

Nice and easy round most of campus. Wanting to run for 25mins so this was perfect. Keeping it easy this week prior to SHI
Followed my more trepidarium-ing - I could get used to this...

First time in a 50m pool which was pretty cool.
Followed by about an hour in the "trepidarium"

With Conall to find somewhere to go swimming and back via tesco

shoes: Gel Asics Cumulus 17

Easy with Conall and Ruairi all the way around the edge of UCD, then onto the playing fields for some short, fast efforts (3 of them - jogging back to the start between each one), then slow jog back to the flat. Good chat, good to explore campus
