Leinster Orienteering Champs - Vale of Clara - 1st W20E
Good practice on a 1:15,000 scale map, and seemed to cope pretty well. Small mistake to 1 - was on the wrong stream so a little too far left, but found it quickly. No.2 just slightly too far left in the control circle, but took me a bit longer to sort. Got a lot better after this, hitting the majority of the rest really cleanly. (no.11 a bit short and too far right, again quite quickly sorted it).
Feeling quite strong running, just not particularly fast, but got some good motivation when I caught Clodagh by 18 minutes with 3 controls to go

Went to the gym and did yesterdays athletics session on the treadmill. Only reason I went on the treadmill was so I could watch the Winter Olympics on the TV, but they had the cricket playing instead, so I basically just ran inside on a nice day in a hot room sweating buckets for no reason :)))
Anyway... WD, 10mins[2mins], 2x(4mins[1min], 2x2mins[1min])[2mins], WD

UCD Athletics
Legs still pretty tired, so decided to easy run with a few of the other girls who were racing at the weekend instead of doing the session. Good idea, however they were a bit fast for an easy run, so ran a bit with them and a bit by myself. Had my ankle taped, which probably wasn't really necessary and I had to stop to loosen it at one point

Been feeling pretty tired all day, both physically and mentally, so this was a bit of a drain. Might go easy running instead of the athletics session tomorrow if I'm still feeling like this
