Big Weekend Urban
Interesting one... Felt pretty bad at the beginning, nothing particularly wrong, just severe lack of enthusiasm and was getting pretty bored of just long road running. Walked 6-7 just hating the race. Ate a caffeine block there and had a complete change of heart. Felt pretty grate the rest of way, running well and enjoying it. No real nav problems the whole way. Got a bit confused with what the marshals were saying to me

Jog to the event from the hostel, Big Weekend Fight with the Night, Jog to a restaurant with mum for dinner.
FwtN was good, route choices seemed pretty straightforward throughout. Not going fast at all, pretty much just a jog throughout.

Teaching a Matthew how to Orienteer
Normal-ish hill run route, however did a lot of teaching how to take compass bearings etc and finding random points along the way. The boy done good.
Pretty horrible conditions on top - so much so that we didn't even realise we were at the top of the hill as we couldn't see the cairn

Considering my miles the last few weeks, this went a lot better than I expected. Feeling pretty good. Not overly quick, but was able to push quite well.
