Sprint at Cornwall Hill College. Not a bad little area for sprint O, especially amongst the buildings which allow for multiple parallel errors. Good courses by Alex given the constraints of size and technicality. Suits the runners so the gap was closer than it should have been. Made about 40sec of mistakes but the rest was down to fitness (maybe the excess of red wine the night before?). Good thing Mike wasn't there, so took my first victory of the season :-)

Warm-up for my race. After my race I went out with Connor & Cameron on the novice course. Connor read the map, whilst Cams punched. These areas are great for small children - a lot easier to understand the map and relate to what they see around them. Connor did really well navigating by himself to a number of controls.

Easy run at work. Aaaargh, they've built a wall across one of the nice open field areas. Yet another complex going up! Had to run around. Legs still feeling tired from the weekend.

Had a slight problem from 4-5 where I didn't get my bearing correct & then hadn't remembered enough to relocate.

Six legs of roughly 300m each. Teamed up with Sarah & we had a decent run. Really tried to push my legs hard even though I was pretty tired from the weekend's efforts
