Foot injury is not right, so decided to pull out of the WRE and walk the men's course. Pity as the course was pretty simple and the terrain highly visible & runnable. So it would have been ideal for a good result for me.

Tried an easy run to test the foot out. About 2/3rds of the way round I had the first painful foot strike. I could manage it a bit by concentrating on the landing, but had a few more painful landings. Going to have to let it recover.
