Another frustrating run. Not making consistently sensible Orienteering decisions, trying to contour rather than take a path higher up. Given the variation in runnability, I should have learned this lesson. Not enough preparation thinking before the race.
One bingo control at #11 didn't help my mood. Still, no excuses. Should really have focused better.

A forgettable run. Hot and physical. Started off OK. Was too low to #3, which didn't feel right. Didn't properly check the control code at #4, which wasn't mine (but I didn't realise at the time!) A parallel error that cost a lot of time and effort. Didn't generalise #6 enough, so got caught in a parallel re-entrant (not clear from the map) . #7 was missing. Tape was there but no kite.
Went better after that. Legs started taking strain after the long run to #12. After #15, I couldn't face going back up to 16 and then straight back down again. So decided to bale and walk to the finish.
