Undulating trail race. Pre-race easy warmup. Started off at a steady pace, which felt comfortable and once the field had settled gradually increased to a moderate pace. Finally gave all in the last 2-3km's.

Happy that I went after feeling a bit ill in the last couple of days and pleased with the result.

HRM belt didn't stay well into position and eventually I pushed it down so it would not bother me any longer. Hence HRM data is useless.

Stroller Run (Easy run) 54:18 [2] 8.24 km (6:35 / km) +90m 6:15 / km
slept:9.0 weight:76.6kg shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 15

Still some pain on my chest, beneath my shoulder blades, a sore throat and occasionally coaching up some green stuff. I've checked my body temperature and it ok, so no fever.

Easy run with Steven this morning by the feel, which felt comfortable. Sweating out the cold symptoms. Will race tomorrow.

Planned on doing the 5 min hill reps but the 20min easy warm-up didn't feel well. Felt warm and sweaty in face despite the fact that it was windy and cool. Don't think it was fever but still have some cold symptoms underneath my skin which don't go away nor worsen. So listened to my body and called it a day and went for a short easy run as I was afraid that a hard session wouldn't do good either under these circumstances.

Felt tired when I woke up this morning after a good night sleep. Upper body is stuck, e.g. slight pain under the shoulder blades / neck and slightly sore breathing. Guess they are all symptoms of an upcoming cold...

ahr:143 max:166 slept:8.0 weight:77.8kg shoes: Salomon Speedcross 3, red

Easy undulating trail run by the feel/heart rate incl. speed variations. Got the pacing right and it felt easy. Likely the last evening run in the forest for a while as it's now getting dark quite early.

Left knee feels generally okay the last 2 days.

Guess there's a cold lurking around. Noticed today and yesterday afternoon some slight irritation on the upper chest.

Still felt a bit tired in the morning when I woke up, despite a good night sleep.
