shoes: Asics Fuji Trabuco 4

Beautiful sunny, dry conditions. Was mostly dry underfoot, but a couple of sections they ran us thru deep mud! Wore new asics fuji trabuca 4- felt great, plenty of support, grip and room in toe box. Race went well, kept decent pace but lost 4 positions due to weakness on climbing hills- need to build up my strength and stamina. Felt decending was ok. Great race, really enjoyed it!

Legs felt heavy, body felt a bit battered after last night hard treadmill session. Found first couple of miles a bit of slog but by the end was starting to feel more comfortable

Session was 1/2/1/2/1/2/1. Decided to run intervals on treadmill as track not open on Wed pm. Was on course all day so fitted session in the evening. Kept pace @ 17.1KPH, 4 min recovery. Nailed the session; ran each K in 3.30. Legs felt fine after session. Sore feet at the moment- corn on small toe- seeing podiatrist tomorrow pm

Ran well tonight, kept pace steady and included 6 hill sprints on Richmond hill. Work was busy and stressful so needed to fit run in. Pleased with effort. No niggles

Legs felt great after the race. Was aiming to run easy, but got carried away. Went to bed early last night and slept all the way through. Included 6 strides in the last mile

Not a good build up to race: busy at work and cold so had to skip some sessions. No niggles, feel a bit sluggish, but up for a good race. Pleased with 36mins dead: ran hard, on the edge
