Steady Run (with 6 hill sprints) 1:08:49 [3] 9.02 mi (7:38 / mi) +121m 7:19 / mi
shoes: Kayano 22 purple

I felt really good today- 6.50 ish pace felt very comfortable. No aches, no pains!! did 6 hill sprints on richmond hill- decided to increase distance from 12s to 16s rep. Felt strong and explosive. 4 more steady miles after hill sprints. No niggles at the end.

kept pace about 7min/mile- felt very comfortable, legs felt great. After 3 miles did 6 fast diagonals on a football pitch, then carried on 7min/mile pace. Ran last 0.5mile easy. Good session, feel much better now, need to keep strength work up. I have PT this pm

Ran Boars Head fell race route with John- Ran at steady pace, felt comfortable, but worked hard. Stunning evening. Was strong on uphill, took downhill at steady pace. Gluten/foot felt good

Was a bit sore from yesterday- L glute and rt foot (plantar??). Took run easy and after I had warmed up felt much better. My legs feel really fresh, have been foam rolling daily, just couple of niggles. Did 30mins of strength work and core class in the evening. Just got home and I feel really good now, guess I needed to have a good stretch. I am seeing Duncan in the morning so will ask hime to work on the 2 niggles. Will step up strength work now (daily) so to avoid any issues. Tuesday night is an easy 50 mins- my friend has asked me to do an 8 mile run around Lyme park tomorrow evening. Will take it very easy and probably have easy day on Wednesday. Hope that's ok??

Decided to run local, as weather pretty wet and my friend hadn't contacted me about the recce, Wanted aim of session to run about 20miles on trails around River Mersey, not having any gels for first 2 hours. Had one block at 20miles and 1 full soft bottle of electrolyte. Kept pace 8-8.20 pace. The session went well, L glute slightly sore. I feel strength exercises are making a difference and will do 30min strength conditioning later
