SE training 2:26:22 [4] 22.0 mi (6:39 / mi)
shoes: Kayano 23 (Black)

I had a school commitment on Thurs pm so decided to have night off. Was intending to run 8-9 miles easy Fri pm, but after 12 hour day at work it was raining really hard so thought NO.

Was not sure how I would perform in the 22 miler, but felt good from the start. First 9 miles @ 6.30 went well, but L glute started to tighten up. Tried to relax and not force it, mile splits reduced to about 6.37 pace. Last 2-3 miles found tough, but managed to finish strong.

Afterwards I felt ok and legs felt ok

shoes: Asics Fuji Trabuco 4

Ran with friend John with head torches. Legs and L foot felt much better today, had no complaints. Kept pace easy, but had a couple of steady miles. Some of the route was very wet, but enjoyed it. I ran well to the end. FelT I had recovered a lot since Sunday.

Easy run 1:06:29 [2] 8.06 mi (8:15 / mi)
shoes: Kayano 22 purple

Really felt tired today. My left foot was very sore, went to gym first to do some strengthening exercises. The first 5 miles of the run was tough, constant pain in L foot, but it eased and I almost ran normal for the next 3 miles

Steady Run 8:15 [2] 1.08 mi (7:38 / mi)
shoes: Kayano 23 (Black)

warm up. Facilities for warm cool down were very poor. They didn't allow you to run on the track- I got shouted! because I starting running on the track

Race race 1:20:22 [4] 13.1 mi (6:08 / mi) +360m 5:39 / mi
shoes: Adidas Boost

6 laps of track, each lap: first 6 mins into very strong wind, next 7 mins wind was behind us. There were 3 climbs each lap which I thought was good training, but definitely not a PB course! Messed up starting my Garmin which in a way I liked so I ran on feel. No issues during race, hammy and feet were fine, although I got a blister on a toe which was a bit uncomfortable
