Ran around Mersey, cold wet windy- ran first 4 miles 7.30 to 8 min , next 3 7 min, last 3 6.40pace- it was muddy so couldn't go much faster. Worked hard ij last 3 miles, good session. L glute bit tight at the end, but generally feeling good

Cool dry evening, ran relaxed, enjoyed the run at the end of a busy week. No niggles, legs feel fresh for good training over the weekend

Feel strong after yesterdays fartlek session. Ran 6 hill sprints, no problems

weather was foul this morning, wet and windy. Going up Delahays was directly into a head wind.

Ran 5 x800m up Delahays then followed on at steady pace down the hill back to the start.

I didn't run at 10k pace, kept uphill effort about 6.45 pace and downhill pace about 7.00 pace. Legs were ok, good session. It was very wet, just got the session done!

Weather: 1 degrees, hail and rain, very windy- not ideal! I went off pretty quick, but just before 2 miles my lace came undone, school boy error! It cost me 45s and put me out of my rhythm. Ran the rest of the race hard but comfortable picking other runners off the whole way. Left side tightened up slightly towards the end during the downhill section. It was slushy under foot and you had to be careful not to fall over, so at times had to ease off. Pleased with run, 53/2025 5th Vet 45.
