Hill intervals 1:11:41 [4] 8.05 mi (8:54 / mi) +439m 7:37 / mi
shoes: Salomon S-lab ultra

Tough session, worked hard. Ran 4 hill reps from road to the Cage. 1st rep went slightly different route at the top, next 3 same route, all about 5.06/5.07.

Was really out of breath by end of each rep, 5 min easy downhill gave me sufficient recovery.

Got no issues at the moment, good strength session.

SE training 3:29:53 [3] 20.0 mi (10:30 / mi) +914m 9:11 / mi
shoes: Salomon S-lab ultra

Got up at 5.20am was in Blencathra for 7.15. Had to be home for 1pm was aiming to leave by 11am. Ran from Blencathra to Dockray (about 8 miles) then onwards towards as far as Ayre Force. I thought it was an easy section, 3miles of road/old railway track, 0.75 mile of uphill boggy ground, then 4 miles of good stony trail. Managed to wrack my right if toe into a rock, really hurt but stayed upright. Thought I kept a good pace, had to read map on the way out, but confident with route now.
