Run to/from Stratford Park run. Damp conditions. Body felt a bit sore this morning, but after 10mins felt much better

Race race (Park Run) 18:30 [4] 3.1 mi (5:58 / mi)
shoes: Boost Tempo 9

Ran relaxed and kept pace comfortable. Ran on my own most of the way, with 1 mile to go I caught 2 other runners and finished strong. Pleased with time, my aim is run 17.30 by Xmas!!

ran on the road, had new Boost Tempo 9 trainers which felt fab. Ran easy at about 7.30 pace and did 6 strides towards the end. Felt fine from speed session yesterday. Intend to run stratford park run in the morning, but in will be a wet one!!

Really enjoyed the session. There was about 10 other runners, 6 faster then me which provided a good target! Av speed ranged from 5.02-5.22. Effort 3 -10 ranged from 5.13-5.22 so went off bit fast for the first 2 reps. Ran 3 miles after at 7.25 pace which felt easy. Legs felt ok

Ran fairly hard along canal and trails, but kept pace comfortable. IT felt fine, although a bit bruised from Duncan yesterday, other than that all good

Felt bit tired tonight. Got to work at 5.30am, Duncan at 7 then worked to 5.30p- long day! Once I got running I felt fine, did 6 hill sprints on dirt hill next to Mersey.

Felt great today after yesterday, ran easy and concentrated on keeping form. Did 6 strides at the end was grass. Seeing Duncan in the morning and will ask to work on IT and glutes.

With the change of plan this weekend I ran 1hr 40mins easy this morning, wasn't able to get to the hills, but ran it mostly on flat trails around the Mersey. It the afternoon I did a 7 mile hike with my family around Edale.

The easy run went well, IT was bit tight about half way thru but was much better towards the end.
