Interval session: 6x1mile with 5min easy recovery.
Parked at Longford Park ran easy for 20min before / after on the roads.
Set my watch for 5.30 efforts- ran hard, pleased with 1-3 efforts, think I let my mind wonder on effort 4 and brought it back for the last 2. I was on the pace most of the time, found it pretty challenging, especially last 2 efforts.
Legs and feet felt fine, it was damp and cold with stiff breeze, not bad conditions. Pleased with the session.
I will concentrate on recovery over the next 2 days, really want to nail the long run on Sunday. Planning on running a fairly flat circuit in Dunham (part of Trafford 10K route.
