Interval 1:23:58 [4] 11.57 mi (7:15 / mi)
shoes: Kayano 25

The day off has hopefully done the trick- felt no discomfort in left foot at all. Ran the tempo interval session: 10x2min temp with 1min easy recovery. Ran the efforts around sale water park- kept good pace 5.50-6.00.

Thinking about the causes of the PF: agree I seem so pick up more niggles with higher mileage, especially when I've run long on Sunday with pace, but don't allow enough recovery afterwards. I have also started running in a new pair of Kayano 25- I've noticed before that they can take at least 100miles to ware in and be more flexible.

Easy run (with diagonals) 1:05:42 [2] 8.47 mi (7:45 / mi)
shoes: Kayano 25

Ran around Mersey- felt tired after late night, ran well, did diagonals on grass.
7 PM

Easy run 40:47 [2] 5.01 mi (8:08 / mi)
shoes: Kayano 25

Ran with head torch- for some reason left foot was sore with PF- took it easy, was ok most of the way, but need to be careful. Will run interval session tomorrow on grass with caution.

Easy run 1:07:22 [2] 8.5 mi (7:56 / mi)
shoes: Kayano 25

Ran on grass and trails around the Mersey. I was sore and stiff today. Once I got running I started to feel better, easy pace felt good. Went to gym straight after the run and did SC session. Did 3 sets of 10, kept weight fairly light and concentrated on good form. Had 12 min sauna at the end. Great recovery session.

SE training 2:16:47 [4] 20.47 mi (6:41 / mi)
shoes: Adidas Boston no2

session: 15min easy 15miles @ MP+15s 15min easy. Ran up transpennine to Dunham- ran a circuit which was quiet and mainly flat (had 3 bridges over canal/trail( which was just over 3 miles.

Weights from Friday left me with sore glutes/hams. WP did me good so after 2miles went straight to target pace (6.15) 1st 8 miles were ok, had to work hard to keep the pace, felt a couple of twinges in RT knee- think IT band tight. After 9 miles @6.15 knee was sore running on the uphill over the bridges, other than that it was ok. I dropped the pace slightly, ran well for rest of the 15 miles. Good training session.

Due to see Duncan in 10 days but might try and see hime later in the week to free of the IT.
