shoes: Kayano 25

Ran on grass around University fields (4 laps). Did 30mins SC before run, Drills, leg swings, lunges. Hammy loosened up after a while, still sore, ran ok

Ran on grass again. Hammy felt a bit better, did drills, warm up, ran 4-5 laps around grass. Hammy felt better as run progressed.

Ran on grass, did drills, leg swings, lunge, squats. Hammy sore at first, but ran ok.

Easy run on road. Unfortunately L hammy was really sore after 4 -5miles, felt like it had pulled. Will take some time off for few days

very easy run around Dunham. Tried some new Hokas today: Arahi- bought them on Sat from Run NW- had a session where you could run outside to try them out. They have some stability control, not as thick as some hokas, very light and comfy.

L Glute was fine, bur hammy was pretty sore today. I read your reply and yes agree with Chris and the need to progress to some free weights. Now is the time to get myself sorted. Will do light SC session this pm with PT, hopefully the hammy will feel better when it's loaded more

Windy, cold day- conditions were actually not too bad, quite windy at times. At least it didn't rain!

21 laps of the Park, very flat. Was enjoyable ticking off the laps, really enjoyed the race. Pace was about 6.30 for first 14 laps, but dropped for final 7 laps due to mixture of tightness, low energy and increase in wind.

Came 8th, pleased with result, same time as 2 years ago
