I'm working and oncall this weekend. Thought I would have more time, but felt exhausted last night, so didn't get up early. Managed to fit in 5 miles around Dunham

Ran first 4 miles on grass then second 4 miles on the footpath. Found it much easier to run at pace on the grass. I don't miss running on the road.

Easy run around Kersal on grass. Ran 8 diagonals after 4 miles. Ran with head torch. It;s all very different now running in the dark, cold and wet

Cycled twice today: 35miles on my own in the morning, 25 miles with Dave in the evening.
Kept a good pace (18 miles/hour), rode strong up the hills.
Had session with Duncan today: worked on lower back and shoulders: he was brutal, shoulders felt better during the evening cycle.

Just turned the legs over, didn't look at watch. 5 strides after 4 miles. Surprised to see I was running 8 min/mile pace, HR only 116.

4 laps of Macclesfield Forrest. Gel every 20mins. Felt strong throughout the whole run, consistent effort.

Legs felt pretty fresh at the end. Moderate effort yesterday didn't leave me fatigued and I seemed to have a high energy levels today. I tripped near the end passing some walkers and went flying. No damage done.
