Easy run 56:20 [2] 7.05 mi (7:59 / mi)
shoes: S-Lab 3 ultra

Easy run around the Mersey. Work got the better of me this week, not felt very motivated with running in the dark.

Next week I'm on nights! We are going live with electronic prescribing in maternity, of which I am the lead. I've been assigned to work Mon to Thurs 9pm to 9am as trouble shooter. It should be pretty quiet. Will get run in each day. On Tues I won't make it to Macc Forest: is there another session I could do off- road around the Mersey: may be 1 hour progression run??

After the nights I'm off for 8 days, going to Kielder water for 3 nights, then St Andrews for 4 nights, so should get some good daylight runs in.

Wore new trainers today: they are the latest version of the S-lab ultra: feel very comfy, have plenty of grip, feel fast with cushioning. Hopefully will be ideal for WW50

Hill intervals 59:52 [3] 6.75 mi (8:52 / mi) +489m 7:14 / mi
shoes: Hoka Carbon Red

3 x 1mile lon hill intervals. Only had time for 1 hour this morning: ran good pace, worked hard. No problems
6 PM

Steady Run 1:07:20 [3] 8.86 mi (7:36 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Carbon Red

Evening run with Dave, Adrian and Mike. Ran decent pace, picked it up to 6:40 pace near the end. Ran around Mersey with head torch. Enjoyed the banter. It was noticeable how much stronger I was than the others, HR was much lower.

SE training 1:59:00 [3] 13.1 mi (9:05 / mi) +700m 7:47 / mi
shoes: S-Lab ultra 2nd pair

Ive been busy at work Thurs/Fri (worked late), thought just have a few days off, it's done me good, feel fresh. Did'nt work out running on the A100 course as race started at 6.30, Marshalled all day, quite enjoyed it, now have a place for next year!
Run today went well: went trough the 10mile point in 1.34 with about 2300ft of climb so similar to WW50 terrain. Felt strong, ran the hills at steady pace.

Will be back on it this week, aiming to go to Wendover on Sun instead of Sat.
