Easy run around Dunham, mostly on trails.
Session with Chris yesterday. Told him about sore L hamstring/hip area particularly after easy running, seemed to be fine with moderate running.
Did assessment of hips: L Hip weaker than right. He thinks with easy runninf I'm using the hips more and towards the end the hip flexors/muscles are fatigued and then putting more strain on the hamstrings.
He's changed my strength, C&P routine slightly: doing more endurance type work: working the muscles to fatigue.
He watched me run on treadmill: basics are ok, does not want to change my running action, more strengthen the core/hips.
He attacked the L hip area, eased the muscles/hip flexor. Felt much better today.
I will e-mail the altered rehab routine once I receive it.
As mentioned I'm off this week, been getting out each morning, walks in the afternoon. Should do about 77 miles this week. Might do the 80min moderate run tomorrow instead (FRI) then will have easy day before SE run on Sunday: is that OK with you?
