Ran easy to University Fields, Then ran 9 miles at steady pace, ran 1st mile a bit quick (6.35). Pace felt hard. L Hamstring was ok, stiffened up towards the end. 3 miles easy home

Ran 4 easy miles then 4 hill sprints. 4 miles easy home afterwards. Hill sprints went well, ran relaxed with good form

Thursday Mar 4, 2021 #

Legs felt fresh tonight, ran easy to start with, didn't have the intention of running a progression run, but after 2 miles thought just increase pace slightly after each mile. Started at 8.12 pace and finished at 6.40 pace. Felt fine at the end, enjoyed opening up a bit towards the end.

Ran around Mersey. Felt a bit tired from last night, kept pace easy. Ran 4 strides towards the end. Ran before work.

Ran around Dunham and River Bollin: ran fairly hard, felt comfie. L hammy was pulling slightly.

Easy run around canal with 4 strides near the end. Legs felt fine after long run yesterday.

Ran with Paul around Derwent/Lady Bower reservoir. Amazing clear, sunnt morning, virtually no wind, perfect for running.

Pace felt easy the whole way, the uphills were fine.

Hamstring tightened up a bit after 5 miles, but felt ok again after 15miles.

Done strength session at 5pm, I feel fine now, actually feel quite fresh.
