Bike (Mountain Bike O-Cup) 1:37:31 [3] 17.5 km (10.8 kph)

First mtn bike-o race for me and had a lot of fun! Thankfully DD11 let me tag along with him as I'm like a deer in headlights when it comes to orienteering maps. Trails were slick with the rain and mud and I'm not a great technical rider to begin with, so was cautious which meant Chris had to wait for me a few times.
Hopefully the kids won't have activities at the same time next year and we can all do the family category.

Run (Trail) 51:17 [3] 9.81 km (5:14 / km)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

With Ursula at Hilton Falls ... I had us going in circles, you'd think I'd know these trails by now, but thankfully she didn't mind :) Gorgeous day, wanted to get out for a road ride, but had to be a Mom for the rest of the day.

Hike 45:00 [1] 3.5 km (12:51 / km)

Spent the afternoon at Mountsberg and did a short hike with the kids. First time a train has been stopped on the tracks blocking the trails, unfortunately we were on the other side ready to head home. Waited a few minutes but apparently another train had been stopped earlier and sat for 30 minutes before moving again. So after seeing a few people walk the tracks and around the train, we followed and made it out. Kids thought it would have been fun to go under the train, Mom, not so much!

Friday Oct 14 #

Run (Road) 37:16 [3] 8.01 km (4:39 / km)
shoes: Brooks Pure Cadence 3

Lunch run. perfect temps, although I need a new route from the office. Running on Mavis and over the 401 is not the greatest.

Swimming (Masters) 1:30:00 [3] 2.3 km (39:08 / km)

Almost bailed as lacking any sort of motivation these days, but made it there and enjoyed the class once in the water. Mostly sprint sets tonight so not a lot of distance. Tried to keep up to the guy in the lane next to me, which I couldn't do, but it kept me working hard at least.

Monday Oct 10 #

Run (Road and trail) 45:42 [3] 9.31 km (4:55 / km)
