Tupper Lake - up with Kameron and the kids for the Tinman Triathlon. Spent the moring watching the kids while Kameron worked through the Olympic distance event. Managed to get out in the after noon and run the second half of the Half-Iron run course. I could have done the first half but thats where all the hills were.

Dryer Road Park - with relatives from out of town. It was the first time in a long time I had done any real mtn biking so I was a bit rusty on the technical parts, but handling the hills was not too much of a problem. Noticed at least one new trail that needs to get added to our O-map. The tangled line that will result won't help anyone that much, but clearing the trail took a pretty large area of med. green and may have made it white.

I seem to be using my knee as an excuse, but it felt good this morning and did not feel too bad immediately after the run (or this evening for that matter). Route was the Crescent Trail on the N side of the canal to Lyndon Rd then back on Cobb Ln.

Even with the heat I was surprised at how few were on the towpath this evening.

Knee felt pretty good for most of the day, with only a bit of tenderness/swelling left over from yesterday's run.

Turk HIll - Perinton Park Loop - Mostly wanted to try out the knee - but also realized it has been over a month since I logged a running workout. This one wasn't too long and the knee felt OK after about 10 minutes. I think the real question will be how it feels tonight. Other than the knee, I felt like I was pulling a train the entire way. I think some of that was the heat (high even at 8:30 AM), but more likely an indication of my general fitness level.

Feeling a bit more comfortable on the bike. The time was improved since the last ride home. Maybe the wind was at my back.
