Loop from home up around Turk Hill and back onto the tow path. I must have had a pretty good early pace becuase toward the end I was really dragging but my overall pace was decent.

Powder Mills - trail run with some road. I tried to avoid the hills so I could manage a longer run, but it is just not possible. Started on the north end and worked a loop around the south end of the park. Once the loop was finished and I was back to my parking spot I followed a trail (Pittsford Town Trail?) out of the park along Irondequoit Creek. Was hoping to manage a few more KMs before packing it in.

Route 30 trailhead to Deer Pond. Mostly level along an old road/current snowmobile trail, but the last mile or so climbed up over a fairly sizable ridge. Once at Deer Pond we managed a nice swim off the rocks (even though it was raining). Giving this a '3' intensity since more than 1/2 of it was with my 33 pound daughter on my shoulders.

Rollins Pond - ran from our campsite - first 1.6m along paved road to the Floodwood Passage trail - then after about 3 additional trail miles I left the trail to bushwhack across a ridge back to the campsite. Wood were light green to green and it was a slow go.

Got a ride to a trail head in the Fish Creek campground and then ran back toward Rollins Pond along the Floodwood Passage trail. Last 1.6m was on paved road.

Paved roads out through Rollins Pond to Fish Creek - giving this a higher intensity as Kameron and I were either pushing the jogging stroller or a bike/child up a hill

Rollins Pond - Floodwood Passage Trail - after fist 1.6 miles on trail, left trailtwice for buckwhack - first over a col back to the trail and then along Whey Pond. The second time leaving the trail was supposed to be short, but ended up at about .75 miles as I could not find the trail along the south siude of the Pond.

Same route as last night and improved on the time a bit. Knee was feeling a bit achy for the early part of the run and I didn't have much energy left at the end. I finally got my weight down below 180 (first time in about 10 years) - so it is time to set a new goal.

Turk Hill - tow path - Perinton Park loop with a small loop at the end that took me up the South Main Street hill. The temperature really helped - it was the best running weahter in quite while.

Mendon Ponds - Semi-Permanent - Green. Slightly different than the course set up last Sunday, but same general route. Only a couple controls were the same. I came straight from work so I didn't have my contacts or a map case. Neither really cost me noticable time, but I was definitely worrying about handling the map so it didn't disintergrate and couldn't see as well with glasses - they tend to fog up and interfere with peripheral vision. The only reason I got contacts was becuase of an O-event 2 years ago at Irondequoit - East where it downpoured and I could not see anything. I was off the map for 45 of the 60 minutes. Anyway, I was able to run at about the same pace as last Sunday and for the most part the controls were still well marked. I still managed to overrun 4 controls by up to 100 yards. Actual distance run was 6.5 km.
